Michigan Sales Tax Licenses Expiring

by Jennifer Dunn

Michigan sales tax license expiration

If you are registered for a sales tax permit in Michigan then you might have noticed that your sales tax permit is expiring on September 30, 2015.

Michigan is one of the rare states that requires sales tax permit renewal. All licenses “expire” every year, but fortunately, your Michigan sales tax permit will renew automatically unless you cancel it. You can find your new license at the Michigan Treasury Online website. If your new license isn’t yet available, check in closer to the September 30th expiration date.

If you’re required to display your Michigan sales tax permit, be sure to login and grab a copy of your new license so you’re in compliance with state law.
